Confirmation of Target Audience

I am going to make my trailer suitable for ages 12 and up. However, my primary target audience will be teenagers because I feel they can better cope with the horror elements. Additionally, it will mean feedback is more accessible to me, as I am of that demographic I can gain more feedback which is likely to inform my creative choices.
